The grey scale consists of nine pairs of non-glossy grey and white coloured chips which illustrate the perceived depth of staining. These give a corresponding fastness rating of 5, 4-5, 4, 3-4, 3, 2-3, 2, 1-2, 1.They are used to assess the amount of staining occurring on adjacent undyed fabrics during fastness tests. Their use is described in ISO 105-A03.

his is to certify that the SDC Blue Wool Light Fastness Standard No.1-8 has been produced and independently tested to conform to the specifications of ISO 105 B08:1999 + A1: 2009. NEXT & M&S APPROVED

This is to certify that the SDC Cotton Lawn Fabric has been independently tested to conform to the specifications of ISO 105 F09:2009, and is approved by M&S & NEXT for use in their Test Methods. It is produced in a clean environment to prevent fibre contamination.

This product is manufactured for use in the ISO 105 C series of Colour fastness tests. This product is manufactured for use in the IEC 456:1994 for performance evaluation of washing machines. It is also specified in the ISO 10528:1994 test method. This powder free from fluorescent brightening agent to closely replicate a domestic detergent and the formulation is tightly controlled to ensure it meets the specification of the ISO standard.

This phosphate based detergent powder is a completely homogeneous product, which ensures that batch to batch continuity is excellent and promotes superior shelf life. Spray dried to ensure there is no risk of the product separating into its constituent parts, which removes the possibility of inconsistent results.
